This touched us very much every time and we returned this positive energy in all forms. Apart from that, you don't have to pay much attention. We are an organizationally very straightforward acoustic band with piano, upright bass and drums (when in trio). A (tuned) acoustic piano is of course optimal. However, very few event organizers have one, so we usually play on a first-class stage piano. If necessary, we use a bass amplifier, depending on the room. All we need is a multi-plug socket (or cable drum) near the stage and about 4-6 m\u00b2 of space. For outdoor events it is important for us to be protected from the elements (e.g. wetness, sand). There should be a dry shelter nearby in case of weather changes. This way, if it rains, we can take refuge there until the rain is over and then move back with our instruments. Beyond that, you determine the general conditions.<\/p>\n<p>If you are planning a larger concert event or a festival with several hundred guests, a little more preparation is needed. Here the instruments have to be microphoned and amplified. Usually, we are a trio but we have an especially good network in the Jazz scene, too, and know some exceptionally talented musicians, who we also play with on a regular basis. This is the reason why the genre of Jazz is so lively... it makes it possible for different instrumentalists to play together, because the language of music is such a universal one! Of course, the sound you will get is a completely different (yet in no way better or worse) one.<\/p>\n<p>In this extended line-up, we are the POCKET JAZZ TRIO &amp; friends. Often, the client would like an additional singer or saxophone player. If a band member is currently on a tour abroad, a flight may be an exception. Eines sei gesagt: unser Publikum konnte bisher nie anders, als zur Musik mitzusteppen, weil sie so wunderbar swingt. Besonders Lindy Hop l\u00e4sst sich hier sehr gut tanzen. Wir haben auch bereits aus Swingtanzparties der Berliner Lindy Hop-Szene gespielt. Das ber\u00fchrte uns jedes Mal sehr und wir gaben diese positive Energie in aller Form zur\u00fcck. Abgesehen davon m\u00fcssen Sie nicht viel beachten. Wir sind eine organisatorisch sehr unkomplizierte, akustische Band mit Klavier, Kontrabass und Schlagzeug (wenn im Trio). Ein (gestimmtes) akustisches Klavier ist nat\u00fcrlich optimal. Die wenigsten Veranstalter verf\u00fcgen jedoch dar\u00fcber, deshalb spielen wir meistens auf einem erstklassigen Stage Piano. Ggf. benutzen wir je nach R\u00e4umlichkeit einen Bassverst\u00e4rker. Alles, was wir ben\u00f6tigen, ist eine Multisteckdose (oder Kabeltrommel) in B\u00fchnenn\u00e4he und ca. 4-6 m\u00b2 Platz. Bei Au\u00dfenveranstaltungen ist es uns wichtig, vor den Elementen (z.B. N\u00e4sse, Sand) gesch\u00fctzt zu sein. Es sollte in unmittelbarer N\u00e4he eine trockene Unterstellm\u00f6glichkeit bei Wetterumschw\u00fcngen bereitstehen. So k\u00f6nnen wir bei Regen dorthin fl\u00fcchten, bis der Regen vorbei ist und dann wieder umbauen. Dar\u00fcber hinaus bestimmen Sie die Rahmenbedingungen.<\/p> <p>Planen Sie eine gr\u00f6\u00dfere Konzertveranstaltung oder ein Festival mit mehreren Hundert G\u00e4sten, ist etwas mehr Vorbereitung vonn\u00f6ten. Hier m\u00fcssen die Instrumente mikrofoniert und verst\u00e4rkt werden. Deshalb ist das Genre des Jazz auch so lebendig... es erm\u00f6glicht das Zusammenspiel von verschiedenen Instrumentalisten, weil die Musiksprache eine universelle ist! Nat\u00fcrlich ist der Sound dann etwas ganz anderes.<\/p> <p>In dieser erweiterten Besetzung sind wir das POCKET JAZZ TRIO &amp; friends. Oftmals w\u00fcnscht der Kunde bei uns noch zus\u00e4tzlich eine S\u00e4ngerin oder einen Saxofonisten. Sprechen Sie uns einfach darauf an.\u00a0<\/p><\/li><li><h4>Wo darf der Veranstaltungsort sein?<\/h4><p>Wo immer Ihre Veranstaltung ist, kommen wir mit. Kein Weg ist uns zu weit, jedoch wirken sich die Anfahrts-\/\u00dcbernachtungskosten selbstverst\u00e4ndlich auf den Preis aus. Wir haben bisher europaweit gespielt, vor allem in Deutschland und Belgien\/Niederlande\/Luxemburg. Ausgangspunkt ist f\u00fcr uns <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pocketjazztrio.com\/jazz-band-berlin\/\">Berlin<\/a>, wo die deutsche Jazz-Szene am lebendigsten und auch internationalsten ist. Diesen Jazz tragen wir hinaus in die weite Welt!<\/p> <p>Deutschlandweit (und in Nachbarl\u00e4ndern) reisen wir \u00fcblicherweise mit dem Auto und Zug an. Wenn ein Bandmitglied sich zurzeit auf einer Tour im Ausland befindet, kommt ausnahmsweise auch mal ein Flug in Frage. F\u00fcr eine Veranstaltung, die weiter weg ist, reisen wir per Zug oder Flug und leihen uns das Equipment vor Ort.<\/p><\/li><li><h4>Wie weit im Voraus muss ich die Band buchen?<\/h4><p>Das h\u00e4ngt g\u00e4nzlich von unserer Anfahrtslogistik ab. Wir finden hier gemeinsam immer eine L\u00f6sung, auch wenn es knapp wird!<\/p> <p>In die andere Richtung gibt es keine maximale Vorlaufzeit. Sie k\u00f6nnen uns gerne auch f\u00fcr das n\u00e4chste oder \u00fcbern\u00e4chste Jahr buchen.<\/p><\/li><li><h4>Was sind Ihre Preise f\u00fcr meine Veranstaltung?<\/h4><p>Das ist nat\u00fcrlich immer von einigen Faktoren abh\u00e4ngig: Spieldauer\/Veranstaltungsdauer, Veranstaltungsort, Notwendigkeit einer Unterkunft, Anzahl der gew\u00fcnschten Bandmitglieder, ggf. Aufwand bei besonders gro\u00dfen Veranstaltungen (Soundchecks\/Tontechnik, besonderes Repertoire). Diese Dinge sollten zun\u00e4chst (telefonisch oder in anderer Form) abgesprochen werden. Erst dann ergibt das Nennen eines Preises Sinn. An diesen halten wir uns aber auch.<\/p> <p>Wenn wir herausgefunden haben, was Sie wirklich konkret ben\u00f6tigen und was eben nicht, k\u00f6nnen wir Ihnen gerne ein schnelles und unverbindliches, aber eben individuelles Angebot unterbreiten. Sprechen Sie uns einfach an.<\/p><\/li><li><h4>Was ist alles im Preis inklusive?<\/h4><p>Im Preis, den Sie in unserem unverbindlichen Angebot genannt bekommen, ist alles inklusive, in Ihrer gew\u00fcnschten Besetzung (standardm\u00e4\u00dfig im Trio). Dieser Preis ist der Endpreis, also inklusive allem, z.B. Anfahrt, Aufbau (60 min vor Veranstaltungsbeginn), unserem ben\u00f6tigten Equipment, l\u00e4ngeren Pausen, Repertoirew\u00fcnsche (solange diese nicht extra geprobt werden m\u00fcssen), evtl. Unterkunft. Das ist f\u00fcr Sie am einfachsten, aber wir erkl\u00e4ren Ihnen auch gerne, wie sich unser Preis zusammensetzt.<\/p> <p>Allerdings geben wir Ihnen dazu auch immer noch einen Preis f\u00fcr eine (spontane) Spielverl\u00e4ngerung pro 60 min an. Diese Option d\u00fcrfen Sie am Auftrittstag gerne in Anspruch nehmen. Auch mehrfach, wenn Sie das w\u00fcnschen.<\/p><\/li><li><h4>Spielen Sie auch das Lied \"XY\"?<\/h4><p>Wir nehmen gerne auch Songw\u00fcnsche entgegen, wenn es dem Musikstil entspricht (oder wir den Song auch in unserem Stil spielen k\u00f6nnen) und die Noten daf\u00fcr verf\u00fcgbar sind. Aufw\u00e4ndigere St\u00fccke etwa (z.b. der Br\u00e4utigam m\u00f6chte selbst f\u00fcr seine Liebste ein St\u00fcck seiner Wahl gesanglich zum Allerbesten geben,) sollten einige Zeit vorher abgesprochen werden. Wir sind jedoch auch Blattleser und improvisierende Musiker zugleich. Sie d\u00fcrfen also erstaunt sein, wie wir einen Songwunsch an Ort und Stelle auch zum Leben erwecken k\u00f6nnen. Etwas Offenheit sollte das Publikum idealerweise daf\u00fcr auch mitbringen.<\/p><\/li><li><h4>Bieten Sie auch Animation an?<\/h4><p>Wir m\u00f6chten keinen Menschen zu etwas animieren, was er nicht selbst in sich sp\u00fcrt. Es ist unser Spiel, welches die G\u00e4ste mitrei\u00dfen und in unseren Bann ziehen soll. Damit sind wir bisher sehr erfolgreich und dank unserer guten Musiker auch effektiv darin, bei unseren Kunden und beim Publikum einen bleibenden Eindruck zu hinterlassen.<\/p><\/li><li><h4>Kann ich die Band auch vorher kennenlernen?<\/h4><p>Sprechen Sie uns gerne darauf an. Manchmal passt es, dass Sie uns <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pocketjazztrio.com\/jazz-band-berlin\/\">im Berliner Raum<\/a> einmal live oder bei einer Probe h\u00f6ren k\u00f6nnen. Falls das organisatorisch nicht m\u00f6glich ist, k\u00f6nnen Sie den Bandleader Andreas und\/oder ein anderes Bandmitglied gerne zu einem Gespr\u00e4ch treffen, um Ihre W\u00fcnsche f\u00fcr Ihre Veranstaltung zu besprechen.<\/p><\/li><li><h4>Was passiert, wenn ein Musiker ausf\u00e4llt oder nicht verf\u00fcgbar ist?<\/h4><p>Wir sind in der Jazz-Szene sehr gut vernetzt und kennen viele herausragende Musiker, die den Auftritt spielen k\u00f6nnen. Wenn wir im Vorfeld wissen, dass eine\/r unserer regul\u00e4ren Musiker\/innen am Veranstaltungstag nicht verf\u00fcgbar sein wird, machen wir das rechtzeitig transparent. Es kann aber auch (wie jedem von uns) in seltenen (unvorhersehbaren) F\u00e4llen (Unfall, Flugausfall etc.) passieren, dass ein gebuchtes Bandmitglied ausf\u00e4llt. Wir tun in einem solchen Fall alles in unserer Macht stehende, das Bandmitglied kurzfristig gleichwertig zu ersetzen. In der Jazzmusik m\u00fcssen Instrumentalisten ohnehin stets flexibel sein, auf neue klangliche Situationen reagieren und auf andere Musiker eingehen. So entsteht \u00fcberhaupt erst der Zauber dieses Genres und tats\u00e4chlich war dies auch der Grund f\u00fcr den Erfolg vieler bekannter Jazzaufnahmen.<\/p><\/li><li><h4>Muss ich f\u00fcr meine Veranstaltung GEMA-Geb\u00fchren bezahlen?<\/h4><p>Das h\u00e4ngt von der Art der Veranstaltung ab.
